I bought my Roddy Turner Bodhran from the Music Room, in 1997 and it has served me very well since then. I've never been tempted by any other drum so far !! Marcus Coulter was the All Britain Pipes Champion a few years ago, and was a member of our branch of CCE. I was invited to teach Bodhran for Folkus a few years ago, thanks to Alan Bell and Dave Jones for the invite, great fun guys (sadly it's had to stop due to my disability) !! At Chester Festival 2002, I won the competiton for best festival photos, my "Festival Of Feet". Dick G's pages are an inspiration to *any* website designer - keep it simple and make sure it works in ANY browser - his "Websites - A Rant" is a must read. I often play Bodhran with Miln and James, two guys from Firebrand, at The Malthouse, Ironbridge in Telford. Bill Caddick is a good mate of mine, and is one of my favourite singer/songwriters - Im even singing two of his songs in my current set. And Les Barker just had to be included here, simply cuz there's nowhere else to put him, and I really wanted to have his details on this page.
